  1. Click the picture to the left to open BSD Education in a new window.

  2. Choose one of the projects.

  3. When the pop up window opens, press the Start Project button.

  4. Before you go any further, you should create an account so your progress can be saved. You can complete the projects without an account, but your work won’t be saved online.Press the Sign Up button in the upper right corner.

  5. If you know your Google login and want to use it to create your account, select Connect with Google. Otherwise, you will need to create a username and password. You can also use an email address, but you will need to verify the email before you will be able to log in.Your username should be an animal followed by a 4-digit number (ex. cobra7531, tiger8935). Your password should be the reverse of your username, number then animal (ex. 7531cobra, 8935tiger).

  6. Do not go any further until you have recorded your username and password. If you are participating in person, ask for a Student Login sheet from your instructor if you haven’t already been given one. Use the form below to submit your login details electronically.

  7. Now that your account has been created, you may continue working on your selected project.

  1. Click the picture to the left to open Google Sites in a new tab.

  2. Log in to your Google account if you aren’t already logged in.

  3. Under “Start a new site”, select the Blank template to start a new site from scratch.

  4. The first time you start a new site, you’ll be taken on a short tour of Google Sites. Read what it tells you and keep pressing Next until you’re done.

  5. Experiment on your own and use the videos below to help you start creating your first site.

  1. Click the picture to the left to open CodeMoji in a new window. 
  2. Click Sign Up along the top menu bar.
  3. When the pop up window opens, choose I am a Student from the dropdown box. Your username should be an animal followed by a 4-digit number (ex. cobra7531, tiger8935). Password should be the reverse, number then animal (ex. 7531cobra, 8935tiger). Confirm password means enter same password again. Then press the Register Now button.
  4. The next screen is your dashboard. You can select your character with the arrows. Then click Settings on the left hand side of the screen. In the Join a Class field, enter 6980 and then press the Join Class button. You have now been added to the TechBrainiacs class and will have access to all the different lessons.
  5. Click Dashboard and then select HTML Lessons below your character. From the Course selection screen, choose HTML in the Beginner Lessons section. It’s the first circle with the logo containing a shield with 5 on it.

Click the CodeMoji title at the top of this section to access the CodeMoji page. Follow the directions to work through the lessons and ask your instructor for help when needed. Have fun!

Weebly accounts must be created by your instructor.

Please speak with your instructor when you are ready to get started building your website with Weebly. 

You will need to provide your instructor with a username and password. 

You may need to wait a week for your account to be created once you notify your instructor.

Once your account has been created, click the picture to the left to log in. Then, click the Weebly title at the top of this section to visit the Weebly page with complete instructions on what you should do.
