Getting Started

First time? Here's how to get started!

Ask your instructor for help if you need it.

  1. Click the picture to the left to open BSD Education in a new window.

  2. Choose one of the projects.

  3. When the pop up window opens, press the Start Project button.

  4. Before you go any further, you should create an account so your progress can be saved. You can complete the projects without an account, but your work won’t be saved online.Press the Sign Up button in the upper right corner.

  5. If you know your Google login and want to use it to create your account, select Connect with Google. Otherwise, you will need to create a username and password. You can also use an email address, but you will need to verify the email before you will be able to log in.Your username should be an animal followed by a 4-digit number (ex. cobra7531, tiger8935). Your password should be the reverse of your username, number then animal (ex. 7531cobra, 8935tiger).

  6. Do not go any further until you have recorded your username and password. If you are participating in person, ask for a Student Login sheet from your instructor if you haven’t already been given one. Use the form below to submit your login details electronically.

  7. Now that your account has been created, you may continue working on your selected project.
