- Use the Previous/Next buttons on either side to view all the pages of the tutorial. Be sure to read the captions below!
- After viewing the demo, press Create Comix! along the top menu bar to get started creating.
- Before you can get started, you will need to login or register for an account. If you already have an account, you can log in with it here. Otherwise, at the bottom of the pop-up, press Register.
- Your username should be an animal followed by a 4-digit number (ex. cobra7531, tiger8935). Your password should be the reverse of your username, number then animal (ex. 7531cobra, 8935tiger). You may enter your own email address if you wish (but you don’t have to). Then press Register and Sign In.
- Do not go any further until you have recorded your username and password. If you are participating in person, ask for a Student Login sheet from your instructor if you haven’t already been given one. Use the form below to submit your login details electronically.
- Now, take your time to create an interesting story using as many as 18 panels. Add backgrounds, objects, characters, bubbles, etc.
- Don’t wait too long before you press the Save Comic Online button to preserve your work. You will need to name your comic and enter your name as the author (nicknames are OK). You can continue editing until you are completely happy with your creation. Be sure to make a final save before leaving this page.
