Ask your instructor for help if you need it.

  1. Click on the top picture to the left to be taken to the Join Class page.
  2. Enter the class password: techbrain and press Submit.
  3. On the next screen, select No when asked if you already have a Storyjumper account. If you DO have a Storyjumper account and know your login, you can press Yes to add your account to this new class.
  4. Do NOT select Sign In with Google. Instead, enter your first name and last name. If you do not wish to keep the suggested username, you may create your own. Your username should be an animal followed by a 4-digit number (ex. cobra7531, tiger8935). Then press Create Account.
  5. You will then be asked to create your password. Your password should be the reverse of your username, number then animal (ex. 7531cobra, 8935tiger). Ask your instructor if you have any questions about creating your password.
  6. Do not go any further until you have recorded your username and password. If you are participating in person, ask for a Student Login sheet from your instructor if you haven’t already been given one. Use the form below to submit your login details electronically.
  7. Once your account has been fully created, you will be brought to your dashboard and asked if you want to create a practice book.
You may get started right away, or you may choose to look at some example books in the Library section first.
  8. Decide if you will start with a blank book or one of the pre-created templates. The first time you enter the book editor, you will be shown a video (also available on this page) about how to create your book. Take the time to watch it and then get started. Happy creating!

Have fun!

What should I do?

Here are some ideas to help you get started creating. You can find many more HERE.

Each of us has at one time finished reading a book and said to ourself, ‘’I wish this book never ended,’’ and hoped for more pages or a sequel. Now, with MakeBeliefsComix.com you can create a comic strip and continue the story of your favorite characters. Did they live happily ever after? What new adventures or problems did they encounter? What happened to them after they grew up? Did everything work out as it was supposed to? You be the author-creator now as you build your comic strip. Have fun!

You are riding the bus and looking at the people who come on board. You suddenly find you have the power to read the thoughts of others. Someone sits down across from you, you close your eyes and read their minds. What stories do you hear? What surprises do you uncover? What do you learn?

Working with your best friend, you’re designing a computer program to do something miraculous, something never done before. It will answer a basic need all people have. What does your computer program do?

Take a moment to recall the happiest time in your life so far. When was that? What made it so special?

Now, keep that memory alive within you as you go about your day and deal with all the problems ahead. The memory will keep you going.

Let’s just say that you had one great power — and that was to change the world in some way. What would you do?
